The Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) acts as a strategic partner within assigned business units, aligning HR initiatives with overall business objectives. This role emphasizes employee relations, talent management, organizational development, and change management to support the company's growth and people strategy. The Sr. HRBP serves as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees, collaborating across HR functions to provide exceptional support and guidance. In this fast-growing environment, adaptability and a willingness to engage in both detailed and strategic tasks are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key partner for employees, managers, and senior leaders within assigned business units.

  • Support and influence decisions on organizational structure, workforce planning, key hires, and talent management.

  • Offer guidance and coaching to managers on employee relations, performance management, and conflict resolution.

  • Lead change management initiatives to encourage a high-performance culture.

  • Work with HR centers of excellence (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development) to implement company-wide initiatives.

  • Facilitate succession planning, supporting leadership in talent identification and development.

  • Analyze HR metrics and provide insights to inform business decisions.

  • Ensure adherence to labor laws and company policies.

  • Availability to work from the Playa Vista, CA office (hybrid) at least 3 days per week.

    Requirements

Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 8+ years of experience in Human Resources, with at least 5 years in an HR Business Partner role.

  • Background in Recruiting, Compensation, or other HR functions is advantageous.

  • Proven experience in fast-paced, dynamic environments.

  • Skilled in managing complex employee relations issues from investigation through resolution.

  • Strong business acumen, communication, and relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.

  • Team-oriented, with a willingness to engage in both tactical and strategic HR tasks.

  • Occasional travel as needed.
