Robert Half Purchase & Sales Specialst in Inglewood, California
Description We are in search of a Purchase & Sales Specialist to join our team in the Telecom Services industry, based in Inglewood, California. This role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity. As a Purchase & Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks ranging from accounting to administrative duties. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining operations and contributing to our team's success.
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and process customer credit applications with precision and efficiency.
• Keep accurate records of customer credit information.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Utilize accounting software systems to perform tasks related to fixed assets, general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Prepare and post journal entries and conduct bank reconciliations.
• Utilize MS Great Plains Dynamics for financial reporting and MS Excel for financial reconciliation.
• Perform billing tasks and maintain accurate records of transactions.
• Handle diverse tasks as required, such as filing documents, managing mail, and placing orders.
• Utilize your knowledge and experience with sales tax regulations and procedures. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the Telecom Services industry.
• Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems and MS Great Plains Accounting.
• Demonstrated experience in handling Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Journal Entries.
• Proficiency in MS Great Plains Dynamics and MS Excel.
• Experience in Billing, Bank Reconciliations, and Accounts Payable (AP).
• Strong knowledge and experience in Financial Reporting and Financial Reconciliation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
