Robert Half Project Coordinator in Iowa City, Iowa
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator for one of our clients in Iowa City. This is a direct-hire/permanent position with this team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating and coordinating various projects within the company, ensuring they are executed efficiently and meet the established objectives. The Project Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage project timelines, and contribute to the successful delivery of project for their clients.
Project Planning and Execution:
Work closely with project managers to develop detailed project plans, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
Coordinate and monitor project activities, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budget constraints.
Assist in the execution of energy projects, ensuring all aspects align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members, both internal and external stakeholders.
Facilitate regular team meetings to review project progress, address challenges, and ensure alignment with project goals.
Documentation, Billing and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, project billings, status reports, and meeting minutes.
Prepare and distribute comprehensive project reports to relevant stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, risks, and mitigation strategies.
Process financial transactions in ERP and present project financial information to project manager and project team as necessary
Coordinate the allocation of resources, including personnel and equipment, to support project requirements.
Collaborate with department heads to ensure adequate resources are available for project needs.
Identify potential risks and challenges associated with project implementation.
Work with project managers to develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.
Qualified in Spreadsheets and ERP system
3+ years experience in Project or Construction Coordination experience highly desired
Project Billing experience would be helpful
Strong familiarity with Construction Projects
Adeptness in Administrative management and able to be the director of first impressions
Demonstrated knowledge of Communication Skills
Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds
AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred
