Robert Half is partnering with an established real estate company, seeking a corporate paralegal to join their staff.

This role is in-office 3x/week in Irvine, 2x/week from home. Please do not apply if you do not live in Orange County.

A background in real estate is extremely helpful to be successful in this role!

Responsibilities of Role:

• Entity formation - the real estate company has about 50 entities, so handling corporate resolutions, monthly reporting, understanding org charts, and signature blocks

• Reporting to insurance carriers – claims in pre-litigation, just putting the carrier on notice if something happens on one of our properties

• Contracts - joint venture agreements, general business agreements, vendor agreements (knowing how to redline these). Being familiar with preferable terms and standard provisions (like with insurance companies, who signs). Communicating with vendor to make sure those get handled correctly. We have a database of templates.

• Drafting articles of incorporation

• Assisting with board meeting minutes

• Corporate transparency act reporting and compliance

Compensation:

· Salary: $75-85K target, but can go up to $90K for someone with strong real estate experience

Requirements

Knowledge of the following is required:

1. Entity formation and maintenance, and supporting documents

2. Ability to redline commercial contracts.

3. Familiarity with org charts.
