We're excited to partner exclusively with a prominent client in the entertainment industry to find an HR Generalist for a fantastic opportunity in Irvine, California! This contract-to-hire role, offered through Robert Half, is crucial to shaping the Human Resources function within a dynamic and creative environment. As an HR Generalist, you’ll play a key role by leading efforts in recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and compliance. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the complete recruitment process, from sourcing potential candidates to ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new hires.

• Manage employee relations and performance issues, with a focus on fostering employee engagement and development.

• Assist in compliance with labor laws and internal company policies.

• Handle leave of absence management and workers' compensation claims as required.

• Administer benefits and ensure their effective distribution.

• Leverage ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, and Dayforce systems to streamline HR processes.

• Develop strategic talent acquisition and workforce planning strategies.

• Facilitate effective communication within the organization.

• Implement and manage onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new hires.

• Utilize skills in Corporate Recruiting and FMLA to enhance HR functions.

Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now

• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode

• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce software

• Understanding of Benefit Functions

• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written

• Knowledge of Compliance regulations and practices

• Experience in Employee Relations and handling FMLA procedures

• Previous experience in Corporate Recruiting

• Proficiency in Onboarding new employees

• Ability to work well in a team and independently

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred

• Relevant HR certifications would be a plus.
