Robert Half HRIS Systems Analyst in Irvine, California

Description We are in search of an HRIS Systems Analyst to join our team located in Irvine, California. In this role, you will primarily focus on the design, development, testing, implementation, and administration of the human resource information systems (HRIS), specifically Oracle Cloud HCM. This role is a crucial link between our HR department and the IT team, ensuring the HRIS systems are well maintained and meet the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and implement HRIS Systems, focusing on Oracle Cloud HCM

• Act as a technical point of contact, overseeing user acceptance testing of system changes

• Identify and analyze process flows for improvement opportunities in HR systems

• Collaborate with the HR team to define requirements and lead system configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Oracle HCM modules

• Participate in HRIS upgrades, patches, fixes, testing, and other technical projects

• Provide level 2 support to associates in technical matters related to HRIS

• Develop user training materials and maintain documentation for work

• Perform system maintenance and application upgrades, ensuring the HRIS system stays up-to-date

• Collaborate with HR functional experts and other departments to understand functional needs and define requirements

• Optimize HRIS processes by integrating the software/systems to build a highly integrated and automated set of processes

• Conduct audits on HR processes, documents, and data, taking action consistent with available facts, constraints, and consequences

• Maintain specialization in the specific areas of responsibilities through constant learning of new technologies and best industry practices

• Recommend process/customer service improvements and innovative solutions, subject to approval by appropriate leadership

• Conduct training and develop user procedures, guidelines, and documentation

• Create and maintain master structural data in the system such as the dept./org tree, job code, location etc. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 3 years of experience working as an HRIS Systems Analyst or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in HRIS - Human Resources Information Systems is required.

• Should have strong HRIS Analysis skills.

• Familiarity with HRIS System and HRIS reporting is essential.

• Knowledge and experience in Oracle HCM, HCM Cloud, and Oracle Cloud are necessary.

• Should have a strong understanding of compensation & benefits processes and procedures.

• Proficiency in SQL, SQL Queries, and SQL Reporting is required.

• Should have skills in both quantitative and qualitative analysis, including quantitative data analysis, qualitative data analysis, and quantitative analytics.

• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and PL/SQL is mandatory.

• Familiarity with Core HR practices and procedures is essential.

• Must have strong data analysis skills and the ability to perform data analysis.

• Experience in custom module development is required.

• Knowledge and experience with HR Modules, Oracle Application Modules, and Oracle Modules are necessary. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
