Robert half is looking for a Senior Cloud Engineer to work for their client that is in the medical industry located in Irvine, CA. The Senior Cloud Engineer position will be on-site 5 days a week in Irvine, CA. This role involves working with data teams and automating delivery pipelines for new market initiatives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in establishing event-driven architecture processes and enhancing our CI/CD delivery.
Responsibilities:
• Design new products and workloads in collaboration with the data team
• Simplify processes to ensure efficient delivery of data products
• Automate the product delivery pipeline to transition from manual processes
• Establish an on-prem platform for the Google Cloud and AI products
• Work on the build-out of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) in the coming year
• Implement event-driven architecture to streamline processes
• Collaborate closely with the data team on a variety of data products
• Enhance the CI/CD delivery process and contribute to continuous improvement efforts
• Utilize GitOps style automation and Linux Systems in daily tasks
• Use programming languages such as Python and Bash/Shell for scripting purposes.
