Robert Half Oracle Fusion Payroll Specialist in Irving, Texas

Description

We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Processor with significant experience using Oracle Fusion. The individual should possess exceptional multitasking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing end-to-end payroll processing across multiple US locations.

  • Coordinating with the HR department and finance teams to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.

  • Using Oracle Fusion for payroll processing, and incorporating best practices.

  • Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.

  • Reconciliation of payroll data and investigation of any discrepancies.

  • Preparing and submitting payroll reports considering deductions, leaves, disability periods, and more.

  • Regularly updating knowledge of changing regulations, compliance standards, and best practices.

  • Handling queries from employees and alumni about payroll matters, providing timely and accurate feedback.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business administration, or related field.

  • Proven experience as a Payroll Processor, preferably in a multi-site, multi-entity environment.

  • Advanced knowledge and substantial experience with Oracle Fusion is a must.

  • Detailed understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws across multiple states.

  • High attention to detail, with an ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.

  • Great organizational and time-management skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.

The successful candidate should display a high level of expertise in payroll activities, with demonstrated substantial use of Oracle Fusion. This role will play a crucial part in the finance department, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of payroll, so the team member can focus their efforts on other tasks.
