The Photography Studio Merchandise Coordinator plays an important role in the flow of product to and from our in-house photo studio, and is primarily responsible for obtaining, preparing, organizing, and returning product samples.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This position requires the ability to meet photography production deadlines, work within set guidelines and maintain the organization of the studio. The Photography Merchandise Coordinator is also responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with merchant teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Receive and return merchandise requested for shooting from merchant team Coordinate with merchandisers for special instructions on how merchandise should be photographed Sort, de-tag, tag, clean, and prepare merchandise to be photographed Maintain physical state of the studio Is responsible for knowing and maintaining location of photo samples in the studio and other locations, and assists in locating samples. Has ability to identify samples that have been received as part of any project. Alert producer to late samples; actively troubleshoots with merchant assistants to receive overdue samples and cross-checks shipments with studio to ensure accuracy. Meet all set deadlines. Prepare job tickets for merchandise to be photographed Provide a high level of service and timely responses to inquiries from merchants and management regarding merchandise being photographed Provide administrative support to the studio, ordering studio supplies, keeping sample room cart organized, and keeping the studio clean and organized Assist the department with special projects Requirements Photography Studio Merchandise Coordinator - 6 WEEK CONTRACT - ONSITE IN COPPELL
QUALIFICATIONS Detail oriented with superior organizational skills Possess a detail oriented manner and tact Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong time management skills with ability to multi-task Honest and dependable (works with merchandise and has unsupervised access to the merchandise vault) Flexible and adaptable to a fluid work environment Interest in learning and growing in a creative function within an E-Commerce department (photography, retouching, and/or management of creative function) Ability to problem solve and offer solutions to issues that affect the department’s performance Maintaining regular attendance and punctuality The ability to excel and thrive in a photo studio environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office, both Mac and PC EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business, or 2 years related experience Work experience in e-commerce, photography, agency or a related field.
