Robert Half Procurement Data Intelligence Manager in Irving, Texas

Description

We are on the lookout for a Procurement Data Intelligence Manager to join our team in Irving, Texas. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading the Procurement Data Intelligence Management, acting as a gatekeeper for new data entries and a custodian for legacy data. You will also be involved in the digitization of the company, working closely with the existing management team to execute a comprehensive digital transformation plan for the Procurement function. This role allows you to lead and contribute to various exciting projects from inception to successful implementation, which will have an impact across the entire organization.

Responsibilities:

• Champion the development and execution of advanced data collection and analysis methodologies, focusing on robust data sourcing, sophisticated visualization techniques, statistical analysis, and proficient database management.

• Maintain the integrity, accuracy, and cleanliness of procurement master data across several ERP systems, including initiating, developing, and overseeing procedures and technologies to prevent incorrect data entry and to continuously maintain and structure the master data.

• Manage sub-categories to ensure that procurement activities align with the company's quality and service standards.

• Lead strategic projects aimed at enhancing the company's master data management capabilities, improving data quality, and supporting procurement efficiency and compliance.

• Oversee the category from sourcing to purchase support, optimizing the supply chain.

• Audit sourcing activities, applying extensive experience to streamline procurement processes and drive strategic outcomes.

• Utilize tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft Excel for effective data analysis and materials handling to drive cost savings.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement role within the service industry

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power BI

• Demonstrated experience in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions

• Proven track record of achieving cost savings in procurement processes

• Possess sound knowledge and experience in materials handling

• Proficient in using data analysis tools and data analytics

• Excellent skills in data analysis

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred

• Bachelor's in Information Systems, Business, or related preferred. Data management certifications a plus.
