Description Our local client is seeking candidates to work onsite with their existing team as a Senior Project Manager. This long-term contract / contract / contract / temporary employment opportunity is based in the Irving, Texas area. We are seeking Senior Project Managers to manage key projects as part of our client's strategic business plan in their new position. This position succeeds when it serves as a key member of the team, ensuring that changes are delivered to the expectations of stakeholders. Ideal candidates for this role can also be responsible for managing projects to successful completion, ensuring that projects deliver on time, on budget, and in accordance with standards and guidelines over the entire project. How you will make an impact
Operates with the Product Owner/Product Manager to turn the product roadmap into executable projects
Collude with the Product Owner/Product Manager to facilitate creation and maintenance of the Project Roadmap
Make it easier for the team focus on the on-time delivery of agreed products
Monitors and schedules projects - as per the Project Roadmap defined by the Business Owner
Determines the RACI matrix for projects in a product line
Help out with classifying, identifying, and managing risk for functional improvement requests
Assembles report from business analysts, QA leads, and technical leads into an analysis
Shall cooperate closely with the QA Manager, Product Specialist, Product Owner/Product Manager, and Business Analyst
Administers deployment scheduling in coordination with tech lead, Product Owner, and Dev Ops
Guarantee that the functional requirements are achievable, met, and tracked
Contributes to manage dependencies among cross-product teams
Plans schedules and milestones, manages project scope and timelines, and inputs from all other teams assigns to that product
Exercises as Scrum Master for the developers on the team - leading scrum ceremonies, clearing obstacles and ensuring the team is working effectively
Lists out and supervises the sprint planning and grooming meetings and follows ticket assignments
Directs project planning
Works with and communicates with technical team members, designers, stakeholders, and developers
Present detailed reporting to management on risk assessment, project status, and milestone completion
Enhances the daily stand-ups, making sure they are brief, focused, and timely
Provides project outlines with fitting ticket workflows and boards
Collaborates with Product Owner/Product Manager to secure that the product vision and high-level business objectives are clean and feasible Requirements - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across all levels of the organization
Knowledge of Agile delivery teams, projects and programs
Skilled in technical applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, etc.) and JIRA or similar application
5+ years of project management experience
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent of education and work experience
Skilled in utilizing resource tools to manage capacity, forecast, demand and allocation of people
Skilled in managing complicated technology and cross-functional projects
Knowledge of leading medium to large custom and/or complex software development and/or implementation projects
