Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Bilingual Tax Preparer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, tax preparation, and financial analysis. You will be responsible for providing high-quality tax and financial services to their clients while ensuring compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

Conduct in-depth tax research and analysis to prepare accurate tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations.

Review financial documents and statements to identify potential tax deductions and credits.

Assist clients in tax planning and advising on tax-saving strategies.

Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure compliance with all relevant tax codes.

Represent clients in case of audits and liaise with tax authorities on their behalf.

Provide financial consulting services to clients, offering advice on financial planning and investments.

Prepare and submit financial reports and statements for clients.

Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation.

Offer guidance and mentorship to entry level team members as needed.

Attend detail oriented development seminars and stay current with industry best practices.

Requirements

Requirements:

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) (desirable not required) or Tax detail oriented (non-certified) designation (is desirable but NOT required).

Proven experience in tax preparation and accounting, with a minimum of 2 years in the field.

Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using tax software and financial accounting tools.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.

Attention to detail and accuracy in all work.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.

Knowledge of QuickBooks is required.
