Description

We are in the process of hiring a skilled Senior Corporate Tax Analyst for our client's team in Irving, Texas. This role involves managing various aspects of our tax operations, including preparing income tax returns, maintaining updated tax laws and regulations knowledge, and assisting with quarterly and year-end financial reporting. You will also be asked to assist in gathering information, researching tax issues, and drafting formal responses to federal and state audit requests. Responsibilities:

• Preparation and review of Pro-Forma and Separate Company Federal income tax returns.

• Assisting in preparing the Consolidated Federal income tax return, Forms 5471, Partnership and state returns.

• Staying updated on current federal and state income tax laws and regulations to maintain proficiency.

• Assisting with the preparation of quarterly and year-end ASC 740 financial reporting.

• Reconciliation and review of deferred tax schedules.

• Assisting in gathering information, researching tax issues, and drafting formal responses to federal and state audit requests.

• Working independently or within a team as required.

• Mentoring others and effectively communicating with staff and Tax Department management.

• Being flexible and adaptable to change.

• Developing productive relationships with other departments and offices.

Requirements

• Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a corporate tax role or within large public accounting firm

• Proven knowledge and expertise in Federal Income Tax Return preparation and filing

• Solid understanding of Federal Income Tax laws and regulations

• Experience with Consolidated Federal tax procedures

• Proficiency in preparing and filing IRS 5471 Forms

• Strong knowledge of Tax Law and its applications in a corporate setting

• Familiarity and experience with ASC 740 and Deferred Tax calculations

• Ability to handle complex tax tasks and provide effective tax strategies

• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills required

• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving abilities

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

• CPA certification or Master's degree in Taxation is a plus

• Must be willing to stay updated on new tax laws and regulations.
