Robert Half Treasury Manager in Irving, Texas

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Treasury Manager in the transport industry, based in Irving, Texas. This role involves performing various banking and treasury functions for the group entities. You will be interacting regularly with various banking entities, managing treasury analysts, and delivering financial reports and forecasts.

Responsibilities:

• Train and manage treasury analysts on daily cash position reporting and assigned reconciliations

• Deliver U.S. Cash Forecast weekly and maintain trend analysis to support forecast

• Interact daily with all banking entities for efficient Treasury operations

• Review and analyze investment accounts and recommend investments to maximize ROI

• Monitor excess cash and maximize the return on investments in compliance with the company’s investment policies

• Manage reconciliation of CIT funding and settlement files

• Deliver assigned month-end general ledger journals and account reconciliations

• Perform variance analysis and create ad hoc reporting

• Manage the Decisions Positive Pay and ACH Debit Filter exceptions

• Initiate ACH and EFT transfers, maintain bank templates and review bank sites for compliance with company policies

• Manage the company’s credit card processing and negotiate credit card processing fees with vendors

• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, internal controls, and standards and make suggestions for improvement

• Work with Director to set annual Treasury Department goals and budget

• Stay current on Treasury issues and regulations and propose changes that could improve the department

• Support Director with special projects and other tasks as required.

Requirements

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP)

• Knowledge of Banking Operation

• Familiarity with Cash Activity

• Background in Finance is necessary

• Experience in a Corporate Treasury role

• Ability to create Cash Flow Forecasts.

  • Bachelor’s degree Accounting or Finance.
