Description We are seeking a General Office Clerk for our non-profit organization based in Irwindale, California. In this role, you will be providing crucial clerical support, interacting with customers, and maintaining accurate records. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Provide clerical support including filing, scanning, and data entry tasks.
• Process invoices and payments accurately and efficiently.
• Answer phone calls and assist customers with their inquiries.
• Aid customers at the counter, providing top-notch customer service.
• Organize files to ensure easy access and retrieval of information.
• Utilize Microsoft Office suite (especially Word and Excel) for various tasks.
• Schedule appointments and manage calendars as needed.
• Perform administrative assistance tasks as required.
• Assist with shipping functions when necessary.
• Maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. Requirements • Minimum of one year experience in a similar role
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Experience with data entry tasks
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to organize files and manage documents
• Experience in scheduling appointments and managing calendars
• Familiarity with shipping functions
• Ability to operate scanning equipment
• Demonstrated experience in administrative assistance
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• High school degree or equivalent qualification required.
