Robert Half Staff Accountant in Isle of Wight, Virginia
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Staff Accountant on our team in Isle of Wight, Virginia. This role is part of the finance industry and will require you to handle multiple account reconciliations, among other duties.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions.
• Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of bank reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and make necessary adjustments.
• Prepare and record journal entries.
• Handle month-end close processes.
• Utilize SAP for various accounting tasks. Requirements • Possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Demonstrate expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Show capability in executing Bank Reconciliations
• Have a strong understanding of General Ledger
• Be able to prepare accurate Journal Entries
• Experience in performing Month End Close
• Familiarity with SAP system is required
