Robert Half Customer Service Representative in Jackson, Michigan
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in Jackson, Michigan. This role involves working in a call center environment where you will be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries. As a part of our team, your role will be crucial in maintaining customer satisfaction and driving customer loyalty.
Responsibilities:
• Answering inbound calls from customers and addressing their needs
• Data entry, ensuring all customer information is up-to-date and accurate
• Utilizing excellent communication skills to assist customers via phone and email
• Entering customer orders into our Epic System, which we will provide training for
• Working in customer portals to retrieve orders
• Demonstrating strong organizational skills to ensure all aspects of customer orders are correct, including all value-added processes
• Liaising with various supervisors within the plant regarding orders and materials
• Conducting inspections of materials to ensure correct finishing
• Scheduling appointments as needed
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word for various tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound calls in a customer service setting
• Experience with data entry and order entry tasks
• Ability to communicate effectively through email correspondence
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Ability to schedule appointments accurately and efficiently
• Knowledge of Epic System software
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to resolve customer issues effectively
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• High level of professionalism and integrity
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
