Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida

Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. As an integral part of our team, the individual will handle a variety of tasks related to the accounts payable function. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day full-cycle accounts payable transactions, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.

• Execute three-way matching of purchase order, receipt, and invoice for accurate vendor payment.

• Investigate billing and matching discrepancies and take necessary steps to resolve them.

• Ensure all vendor transactions comply with accounting policies and procedures.

• Maintain all accounts payable reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files.

• Assist in monthly closings and adhere to internal controls.

• Reconcile vendor statements and respond to all vendor inquiries.

• Ensure proper discounts are taken on vendor payments.

• Perform administrative duties and other tasks as assigned.

• Utilize skills in 'Account Reconciliation', 'Accounts Payable (AP)', 'Check Runs', 'Coding Invoices', 'Data Entry', 'Invoice Processing', 'Microsoft Excel', 'Oracle', 'QuickBooks', 'SAP', '3 Way Matching' to accomplish tasks efficiently. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role or similar

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)

• Experience with Check Runs and Coding Invoices

• Strong Data Entry skills

• Experience in Invoice Processing

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Experience with Oracle and QuickBooks

• Familiarity with SAP

• Knowledge of 3 Way Matching

• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
