Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Jacksonville, Florida
Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our non-profit organization based in Jacksonville, Florida. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity, where you will be involved in the review of invoices and disbursements, maintaining knowledge of our programs, and handling changes in company policies. The role also involves working remotely and dealing with various tasks related to accounts payable.
Responsibilities:
• Review invoices and disbursements to determine the level of approval needed
• Ensure that all invoices and disbursements have the proper documentation for audit purposes
• Check for duplicate invoices in the internal processing system and conduct research to ensure invoice has not been previously entered
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the organization's programs and policy changes
• Process the OHUR (On Hold under Review) workflow status and pre-authorization requests
• Work across multiple programs within the organization
• Review manual and system submitted reimbursements for accuracy
• Participate in end-user testing and training for software implementation
• Handle special projects as assigned by management
• Maintain a QA evaluation score of at least 90% Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data entry
• Experience with Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP
• Knowledge of Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Ability to process invoices and perform check runs
• Experience in coding invoices
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
