Description Our team is looking for an experienced Corporate Trainer to support and execute our people initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, coordinating and presenting training and development programs for all employees. This position actively searches, creatively designs and implements effective methods to educate, enhance performance and recognize development.
Responsibilities: Assists management team in conducting training programs, seminars and conferences for all employees. Delivers materials using a wide variety of training techniques and methods, and facilitates workshops to provide refresher training as required.
Regularly uses appropriate evaluation tools to assess the effectiveness of training programs. Uses measurement tools to evaluate participant's understanding of the material presented, and utilizes evaluation results to improve training content/curriculum.
Confers with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies that may lead to new training needs.
Works with management to formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods such as individual training, group instruction, online programs, practical demonstrations, conferences, meetings and workshops.
Selects or develops teaching aids such as training handbooks, demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials and reference works.
Works with Managers and Supervisors to review and update departmental training manuals and materials to ensure the materials available are according to the company standard – primarily for publication on the Wiki.
Partners with leaders to develop and provide on-the-job training, refresher training, etc.
Assist with the scheduling, set-up and delivery of various employee training programs. Requirements Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree • 3+ years training experience • Proven ability to develop, deliver, and evaluate training curricula in a corporate training environment • Experience in training on process flow and systems to help staff understand needs related to the internal processes • Familiarity with a variety of training concepts, practices, and procedures • Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and listening skills • Ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to a changing business environment • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint • Strong oral and written communication skills, excellent analytical, planning, and process development skills. • Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to multiple conflicting priorities, continuously prioritize deliverables and to respond in a dynamic work environment
