Description
We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Jacksonville, Florida. In this role, you will be a key player in building and optimizing our cloud infrastructure for efficiency and security. You will work on improving our existing processes and implementing best practices in cloud deployments, contributing to the growth and scalability of our operations in the IT Software industry.
Responsibilities
• Develop and manage tools and processes to support modern application testing and data management.
• Handle code deployments across various environments.
• Provide subject matter expertise to guide application development and operations teams in application performance management strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to maximize synergy in DevOps efforts across cloud deployments.
• Contribute to the improvement of our cloud-based applications, focusing on operational efficiencies, performance, security, resiliency, and cost management.
• Implement best practices in cloud deployments to facilitate the migration of On-Premises workloads to the cloud and ensure repeatable cloud deployments.
• Follow company-established best practices and procedures.
• Participate in an agile team with a customer-first, cloud-first focus.
Requirements • Possession of a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in DevOps Engineering
• Proficiency in using Jenkins for continuous integration and continuous delivery
• Demonstrable expertise in Docker for containerization of applications
• Solid understanding and experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CICD)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Familiarity with various operating systems and databases
• Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
