Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide technical support to our employees, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring optimal system performance. Your ability to diagnose problems quickly and effectively, coupled with excellent communication skills, is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues.

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software.

  • Set up new user accounts and profiles.

  • Maintain network connectivity.

  • Assist with the implementation of new IT initiatives.

  • Document all support requests and resolutions.

  • Maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.

  • Provide technical training to employees as needed.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • A+ certification preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software.

  • Experience with troubleshooting computer systems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Desired Skills

  • Experience with network administration.

  • Knowledge of IT security best practices.

  • Experience with help desk ticketing systems.

    Requirements • Applicant must possess a strong knowledge of Active Directory

• Candidates should be proficient in Deployments

• Proficiency in MS Windows 10 is essential for this role

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required

• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users

• At least two years of experience in a help desk or technical support role is preferred

• Familiarity with IT ticketing systems and ITIL practices would be advantageous

• A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is desirable

• Ability to work in a team environment and contribute to team goals

• Excellent oral and written communication skills are required

• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
