Robert Half Systems Administrator in Jacksonville, Florida

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator in the Non-Profit industry, based in Jacksonville, Florida. The role will involve laying the foundation for sustainable growth, developing and implementing strategies for technology and infrastructure, and providing uniform architecture. This role also involves supporting approximately 500 end users across 22 locations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for technology and infrastructure in conjunction with the Technology Services team.

• Establish unified communications, improve infrastructure, and provide uniform architecture.

• Implement technologies that support organizational functioning, institutional memory, and knowledge management.

• Evaluate and implement IT and communication procedures and equipment for maximum efficiency and cost containment.

• Manage security access, email and internet policy, user groups, and any governance or control issues.

• Troubleshoot Exchange related issues and provide second level support services to staff for complex, technical, and configuration issues related to Office 365 applications.

• Assist with the creation of policies around the proper use of Office 365 services and support.

• Administer and support system backup and disaster recovery processes.

• Develop and maintain scripts used to manage and support the Windows environment.

• Stay updated on trends and regulations to ensure effectiveness and compliance.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Cisco Technologies, Database, Dell Technologies, EO/IR systems, Linux Technologies, Active Directory, Backup Technologies, Computer Hardware, and Configuration Management.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Azure Stack, Application Security, Intune, and Windows Intune.

• Strong scripting and development skills using PowerShell.

• Ability to troubleshoot Exchange related issues.

• Experience with system backup and disaster recovery processes. Requirements • Minimum of five years of experience in a Systems Administrator role within the non-profit sector

• Proficient in managing and maintaining Cisco Technologies, Dell Technologies, and Linux Technologies

• Demonstrated experience in Database management

• Familiarity with EO/IR systems

• Expertise in managing Active Directory and Backup Technologies

• Strong knowledge of Computer Hardware, Configuration Management, and Deployments

• Experience with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and Azure Stack

• Proficient in Application Security, Intune, and Windows Intune

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues promptly

• Strong communication skills, capable of explaining complex IT concepts to non-IT staff

• Team player with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is desirable

• Any relevant professional certifications would be considered an asset
