Your responsibilities
Deliver 2nd and 3rd level support
Oversee and review application performance for potential bottlenecks, define possible solutions, and join forces with developers to realize those fixes
Join in on the plan of design of information and operational support systems
Maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies
In a proactive manner provide the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Administer and control all installed systems and infrastructure
Test, maintain, install, and configure system management tools, operating systems, and application software
Record and keep custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
Work together with vendors and other IT personnel for problem resolution
Requirements
You'll be a good fit for this position if you have solid experience in the administration and performance tuning of application stacks
You'll be a good fit for this position if you have solid networking knowledge
Applicants who have experience with monitoring systems are preferred
O365, SCCM, Intune experience
Microsoft Exchange experience preferred
Deep understanding of PowerShell
Proven working experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting various operating systems is required for success at this position
This position will be the best fit for a candidate who has solid scripting skills
You'll be a good fit for this position if you have experience with virtualization and containerization
If you have experience with automation software, you will be strongly preferred for this position
