Description
We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Technology Lead in Jacksonville, Florida. The role involves leading a team of developers in a .NET environment, utilizing Azure services. The successful candidate will balance hands-on development with team leadership, focusing on delivering high-quality software solutions in a cross-functional team environment.
Responsibilities:
Leadership & Mentorship: Guide and support a team of developers.
Development: Design, develop, and maintain .NET applications using Azure services.
CI/CD Management: Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
Code Review: Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to plan and execute projects.
Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues.
Hands-on Development: Spend a significant portion of time on development tasks.
Stakeholder Communication: Understand requirements and provide updates.
On-call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotations for urgent issues.
Global Team Coordination: Work with teams across different time zones.
AKS Expertise: Demonstrate strong expertise in Azure Kubernetes Service containers.
Ownership: Drive efforts across multiple teams.
This role requires a balance of technical expertise and leadership skills, making it ideal for someone who enjoys both coding and guiding a team
Requirements
Proven experience in a technology leadership role.
Exceptional communication skills for liaising with team members and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to plan and execute projects effectively.
Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and best practices.
Experience with database management and design.
Proficiency in managing time and resources effectively.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to guide and mentor a team.
Experience in production environments and understanding of production challenges.
Ability to manage and engage with stakeholders effectively.
Proven ability to execute plans and strategies successfully.
Familiarity with best practices in the technology industry.
Proficiency in using GitHub for version control.
Experience working with R code.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure and its services.
Strong understanding of .NET and .NET Framework.
Experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with DevOps methodologies and practices.
Experience with automation testing.
Understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) practices.
Proven ability to develop and implement software solutions.
Proficiency in using Join Me for collaborative projects.
Experience in conducting and participating in code reviews.
