Description
We are offering a contract opportunity for a UI/UX Designer in Jacksonville, Florida. This role entails shaping the future of our web and mobile applications, leading the design process from user research to high-fidelity prototypes, and ensuring a seamless user experience across all platforms. This is an onsite role in Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities:
• Design captivating user interfaces and experiences for web, desktop, mobile, and responsive applications
• Lead brainstorming sessions and collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into user-centric solutions
• Develop user empathy and translate that understanding into intuitive and efficient UX/UI designs catered to our target audience
• Generate design options, including mockups, wireframes, and prototypes, to facilitate internal discussions, usability testing, and client presentations
• Craft polished, reusable UI components that can be implemented across our product lines
• Partner with developers to ensure designs are technically feasible and achieve optimal performance
• Maintain a balance between impactful content delivery and exceptional application performance
• Utilize visual design principles and Adobe Creative Suite to create stunning graphics
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, fostering open communication and driving project success
• Utilize technical skills including CSS, HTML, HTML5, Mockup, Wireframes, and Figma for UI UX and Design
Requirements • Proficiency in web design languages such as HTML, HTML5, and CSS.
• Demonstrable skills in using design software including Figma.
• Proven experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
• Up-to-date with the latest Web trends, techniques, and technologies.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions, and standards.
• Familiarity with creating and implementing mockups.
• A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
• Ability to iterate designs and solutions efficiently and intelligently.
• Strong portfolio to be presented during the interview.
• Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
• Ability to work in a team, take feedback, and execute accordingly.
• Excellent communication skills.
