Description

Queens-based Residential remodeling company is actively seeking to hire an Estimator to join their growing team.

The Estimator Job Responsibilities are as followed: The candidate will project and control construction/remodeling costs by collecting and studying information; Prepare work to be accomplished by gathering information and requirements; setting priorities.; Prepare budget by studying home plans; updating specifications; identifying and projecting costs for each elevation; Evaluates offers to purchase by costing changes, additions, and site requirements; Obtains bids from vendors and subcontractors by specifying materials; identifying qualified subcontractors; negotiating price.; Maintains cost keys and price masters by updating information; Resolves cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information; Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; Maintains quality service by following organization standards and more

  • Estimator Construction Skills and Qualifications:

Candidates must have 5 years+ Construction/Remodeling Estimating:, knowledge of Xactimate, Developing Budgets, Vendor Relationships, Reporting Skills, solid decision making, Documentation Skills, and a team player approach. Requirements

  • Past experience in a supervisory role

  • Residential remodeling Construction Estimating experience required

  • Budget management experience desired

  • Manage Vendor Relationships experience

  • Construction Applications Software experience preferred

  • Some knowledge of Spanish Language

  • 5+ years of job related experience required
