Robert Half Accounts Payable Clerk in Jefferson, Louisiana
Description
We are in search of an Accounts Payable Clerk for our client in the hospitality industry, located in Jefferson, Louisiana. This role offers a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity. As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be instrumental in managing and maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and reconciling account discrepancies.
Responsibilities
• Oversee the efficient and accurate processing of invoices, ensuring all are coded correctly
• Handle account reconciliations, identifying and rectifying any discrepancies in a timely manner
• Manage accounts payable (AP) operations, ensuring all financial obligations are met
• Perform check runs to maintain financial liquidity and meet operational demands
• Execute data entry tasks, maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial records
• Utilize Microsoft Excel to analyze financial data and prepare reports
• Operate Dynamics GP for financial management and reporting
• Oversee invoice processing, ensuring all invoices are accurate and paid on time
Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Clerk role, preferably within the hospitality industry
• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Accounts Payable (AP)
• Demonstrated experience in conducting Check Runs
• Proficient in Coding Invoices
• Strong Data Entry skills
• Experience in Invoice Processing
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Dynamics GP software is a plus
