Description We are in search of an Audit Manager in the Public sector to add to our team in Jersey City, New Jersey. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing various accounting software systems, overseeing audit programs, and handling auditing engagements. This role offers an exciting opportunity in the realm of accounting and auditing.
Responsibilities:
• Effectively manage and navigate Accounting Software Systems
• Oversee and execute Audit Programs with precision
• Utilize CaseWare for various auditing procedures
• Manage the use of CCH ProSystem Fx for accounting functions
• Implement and oversee the use of CCH Sales Tax software
• Oversee and manage various Accounting Functions to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Lead Audit Engagements, ensuring all processes are followed accurately
• Conduct Auditing tasks with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Develop and implement Audit Plans in line with organizational goals
• Oversee and manage Budget Processes, ensuring all financial aspects are accounted for. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is necessary
• Ability to develop and execute Audit Programs
• Must be familiar with CaseWare
• Experience with CCH ProSystem Fx is required
• Knowledge of CCH Sales Tax is essential
• Must be capable of performing Accounting Functions
• Experience in managing Audit Engagements is needed
• Strong skills in Auditing are required
• Ability to develop and implement Audit Plans is crucial
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is required
