Description We are looking for a ServiceNow Software Developer to join our team in the IT industry, based in Jersey City, New Jersey. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity and will allow you to work as part of our Global Infrastructure Technology Process Engineering Innovation Team.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to understand and propose technical solutions for business requirements.

• Participate in the architecture design, development, and implementation of integrations and configuration of our ServiceNow platform.

• Support the development of technical solutions and provide ongoing assistance to resolve problems ensuring solutions meet end user requirements.

• Test end-to-end solutions including unit, functional, and regression testing to ensure the satisfaction of internal and external users.

• Participate in strategic project planning to improve operational efficiency across Global Technology Professional Services and Engineering departments.

• Mentor and collaborate with offshore/onsite developers, perform code reviews, and promote best practices and direction to team members.

• Demonstrate the ability to gather requirements, including problem definition, requirements elicitation and impact analysis on complex projects spanning multiple stakeholder communities.

• Maintain a thorough understanding of Agile, Lean, and Scrum principles and thrive in an agile environment with evolving requirements.

• Utilize your scripting skills in various areas such as business rules, client scripts, UI actions, ACL, UI policies, portal pages, and UI pages.

• Configure flows and workflows and use your creativity and innovation skills to provide alternative ideas functionally and technically.

• Have experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to automate and verify applications customizations or configurations. Requirements • Possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or a related field

• Proven experience in ServiceNow Software Development, particularly in the ITOM module

• Demonstrable knowledge in Reporting, Policy, Design, and Implementation

• Expertise in Automation and Engineering is essential

• Excellent Communication Skills, both written and verbal

• Familiarity and experience with Agile and Agile Scrum methodologies

• Ability to effectively engage with Stakeholders at various levels

• Proficiency in Integration and understanding of Best Practices in Software Development

• Experience in Configuration Management and understanding of Frameworks

• Aptitude for problem-solving and ability to Resolve Issues efficiently

• Experience in Onsite Application Development

• Ability to understand and work with Business Requirement Documents

• Experience in Project Planning and ability to manage timelines effectively

• Creativity and Innovation are highly valued for this role

• Proficiency in making Presentations and ability to explain technical aspects clearly
