Description
We are in the market for a skilled Staff Accountant to contribute to our team in the Healthcare client, located northwest of Nashville. As a Staff Accountant, your key tasks will involve managing accounts payable and receivable, conducting bank reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and handling journal entries. You will be pivotal in ensuring the accuracy of our financial information and assisting in the month-end close process.
Responsibilities:
• Manage accounts payable and receivable to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations to monitor financial transactions.
• Maintain and update the general ledger regularly.
• Prepare and record journal entries to reflect the company's financial transactions.
• Manage the processing and reconciliation of balance sheets.
• Utilize NetSuite and Excel to streamline and automate financial processes.
• Ensure the accuracy of customer credit records.
• Assist in the month-end close process to finalize financial reports.
• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary.
• Work with the team to process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role, preferably within the Healthcare/NHS sector.
• Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
• Experience in performing Bank Reconciliations.
• Knowledge of General Ledger maintenance.
• Experience in preparing Journal Entries.
• Ability to handle Month End Close activities effectively.
• Proficiency in using NetSuite accounting software.
• Experience in Balance Sheet Reconciliation.
• Good understanding of Balance Sheets and financial statements.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Knowledge of current accounting regulations and standards.
• Willingness to continue learning and adapting to new accounting practices and software.
