Description

We are looking for a Credit Analyst to join our team in Johnston, Iowa. This role involves managing classified relationships, developing and implementing collection strategies, and preserving company assets. This is a long-term contract opportunity in the financial industry.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategies for the resolution of troubled accounts.

• Manage a portfolio of classified relationships, focusing on reducing non-performing assets and preventing write-offs.

• Protect the company's assets under various circumstances.

• Arrange for the repossession of equipment in compliance with external laws, codes, and internal policies and procedures.

• Assign, monitor, and follow up on accounts placed with various collection agencies.

• Develop and manage legal collection strategies for individual accounts.

• Review and process legal invoices and other related expenses associated with litigation.

• Monitor and manage functional inboxes.

• Communicate strategies and outcomes effectively to internal and external stakeholders.

• Organize a vast array of facts and data and provide risk-related recommendations.

Requirements

• Proficient in Customer Service and able to handle a variety of customer inquiries and complaints.

• Familiar with procedures related to litigation and bankruptcy.

• Able to review and process invoices accurately and efficiently.

• Knowledge of Time Management and able to prioritize tasks effectively.

• Familiarity with Collection Processes and able to handle debt recovery.

• Strong negotiation skills to manage interactions with stakeholders and clients.

• Ability to implement strategies and internal policies effectively.

• Experience in Collateral Management and able to secure loans with assets.
