Description
Robert Half Legal Permanent Placement is seeking a Corporate Counsel for their Providence, RI client. Hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office, 2 days WFH.
Summary: Seeking a Counsel or a Senior Counsel with deep knowledge of the insurance industry, claims, and insurance defense litigation legal. Applicants must excel in managing complex claims, problem-solving, communication, multi-tasking, and organization.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all litigated claims.
Develop litigation and resolution strategies.
Analyze risk and collaboratively reduce exposures.
Refine internal claims best practices and operating procedures.
Provide internal training.
Requirements
Requirements:
Law degree and admittance to a State Bar.
3-7 years of experience as a counsel, or 8 or more years as a senior counsel.
Experience in insurance defense, with a focus on commercial auto and trucking.
Familiarity with state insurance regulations, auto insurance filings, and administrative law
