Description We are offering an opportunity for a Help Desk Analyst I to join our team located in JOLIET, Illinois. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to our faculty and staff across five different buildings. This includes tasks such as software installations, hardware troubleshooting, and resolving support tickets. This is a long-term contract role where you will be working with a team of professionals in the education industry.

Responsibilities:

• Travel between five different buildings providing technical support as needed.

• Assist faculty and staff with various technical issues such as connecting to printers.

• Install necessary software onto Chromebooks before dispatching to students.

• Resolve support tickets in a timely and efficient manner.

• Provide hardware troubleshooting assistance as required.

• Utilize Active Directory for various tasks such as user management.

• Maintain a calm and patient demeanor when assisting faculty, staff, and students.

• Contribute knowledge and solutions to the team to resolve higher-level issues.

• Work closely with a team of four individuals to ensure smooth operations.

• Support a community of 11,000 users including faculty and students, ensuring their technical needs are met. Requirements • Proficiency in Hardware Troubleshooting, including the ability to diagnose and resolve technical hardware issues effectively.

• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Active Directory, including user and group management.

• Exceptional Interpersonal Skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Strong Interpersonal Communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

• Experience in handling Support Tickets, including prioritizing, tracking, and managing tickets to resolution. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
