Description
We are offering a long-term contract opportunity for a Communication Specialist role based in Juno Beach, Florida. The Communication Specialist will support projects from the initial concept and development stages through to successful on-time completion, measured by key performance metrics. This role will develop and execute communication plans and initiatives that align with business objectives. The ideal candidate will understand client needs and craft communication solutions that effectively engage target audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing strategic communication plans.
Create compelling messaging and content for various channels, ensuring consistency with brand and business objectives.
Conduct research and leverage analytics to drive strategic messaging and content effectiveness.
Execute tasks with discipline, ensuring alignment with established processes and project timelines.
Maintain strong client relationships by providing excellent customer service and clear communication.
Use performance metrics to track project progress, assess impact, and refine strategies as needed.
Support additional Marketing & Communications (MC) functions as assigned
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Advertising, Liberal Arts, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience; exposure to multiple disciplines preferred.
Communication Expertise: Proven skills in writing, editing, verbal communication, and presentations.
Project Execution: Demonstrated ability to manage projects efficiently and meet deadlines.
Customer Service Orientation: Ability to adapt to client needs while maintaining enthusiasm for their business.
Analytical & Research Skills: Ability to conduct market research and leverage data for decision-making.
Creative Problem-Solving: Talent for innovative thinking and developing strategic solutions.
Process Adherence: Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow business processes for quality and timeliness.
Multitasking & Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects under pressure.
Additional Responsibilities
As part of the broader Product Marketing function supporting FPL’s Billing & Payment Options portfolio, the Communication Specialist may also:
Develop long-term strategies to drive customer adoption and revenue growth.
Manage integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Oversee billing channel messaging to ensure compliance and brand alignment.
Collaborate with stakeholders for effective marketing execution.
Analyze campaign performance and provide data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Implement process enhancements to optimize marketing efficiency.
Manage and track marketing budgets for maximum return on investment.
