Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Project Manager - T/S in Juno Beach, Florida. This role is instrumental in the Transmission and Substation industry, leading multiple cross-functional project teams to meet safety, reliability, financial, and schedule goals. The Project Manager will ensure compliance with all environmental and regulatory requirements, generate product schedules, and monitor project spend.
Responsibilities:
• Lead multiple cross-functional project teams for transmission and substation projects, ensuring safety and reliability standards are met
• Ensure strict compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements across all projects
• Generate and maintain product schedules based on stakeholder input
• Regularly review actual project spend against forecasted spend, taking into consideration project schedule progress
• Communicate project specifications to internal and external personnel at all levels
• Coordinate with project engineering, construction leads, and transmission system planning departments
• Conduct regular meetings associated with assigned projects and update business unit leadership on project status
• Assess potential Transmission and Substation projects for feasibility
• Act as the project sponsor for Total Safety Culture across all assigned project teams
• Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring successful completion
• Apply strong communication, reporting, planning, and compliance skills throughout all aspects of the role. Requirements • Proficient in Communication to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and suppliers
• Capability to generate detailed Reporting on project progress and performance
• Strong Planning skills for timely project completion
• Knowledge of Procedures and Compliance to ensure adherence to regulatory standards
• Ability to Review and manage project scope and objectives
• Experience in Project Management with a focus on time and resource optimization
• Proficiency in 'About Time' software for efficient project tracking
• Expertise in Budgeting and Forecasting to maintain financial health of the project
• Demonstrated Leadership Skills to guide and motivate team members
• Experience in Onboarding new team members and suppliers
• Ability to Perform Ad Hoc Financial analysis for cost optimization
• Understanding of Engineering principles relevant to the project
• Experience in Staffing, particularly within the construction industry
• Ability to engage Stakeholders and manage their expectations
• Knowledge of Construction procedures and safety measures
• Consistent Attendance to ensure smooth project operations
• Experience in managing Suppliers and maintaining strong detail oriented relationships
• Ability to Ensure Compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Expertise in Cost Analysis for effective budget management
• Proficient in Cash Flow Analysis to ensure project financial stability
• Ability to handle Commision Functions effectively
• Willingness to work Onsite as per project requirements
• Experience in managing an Expense Account.
