Description We are seeking a Project Manager/Sr. Consultant based in Juno Beach, Florida, to join our team. The Project Manager/Sr. Consultant will be expected to provide technical direction on projects, plan and coordinate complex projects, and maintain thorough knowledge of new developments and/or technology. This role is within the telecom industry and offers a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Provide technical direction and guidance to department or project participants.
• Plan, coordinate, and complete large-scale or several medium or small complex projects.
• Stay abreast of new developments and/or technology pertaining to the projects.
• Monitor project progress and recommend changes for improvement.
• Ensure projects are completed within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
• Utilize skills in procedures, planning processes, and scheduling for effective project management.
• Work onsite with suppliers and business units to ensure project success.
• Ensure proper onboarding and staffing for each project.
• Validate project plans to ensure they meet necessary standards and requirements.
• Handle any project-related issues that arise, utilizing problem-solving skills and experience. Requirements
• Proficiency in project management procedures and planning processes
• Experience in creating and implementing project schedules
• Skilled in onboarding new team members and managing staffing needs
• Ability to effectively liaise with suppliers and manage commission functions
• Proven experience in managing onsite operations and handling expense accounts
• Experience working with different business units
• Knowledge in developing and executing validation plans
• Ability to manage scale-out operations
• Knowledge of cyber security principles and practices
• Familiarity with NIS and Nerc standards
• Experience managing a contingent workforce
