Robert Half Utilities Compliance & Operations Specialist in Jupiter, Florida
Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an individual with experience in Utilities Compliance & Operations Management in Jupiter, Florida. This role is within the government sector and will be primarily onsite. As a Utilities Compliance & Operations Manager, you will be tasked with overseeing and managing the utilities operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure the water plant remains in compliance with all necessary standards and regulations.
• Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance plan for the water plant.
• Supervise and manage the lab manager and oversee lab operations.
• Collaborate with the chief water plant operator to ensure understanding and adherence to regulations.
• Stay updated with changes in compliance requirements and adjust strategies as needed.
• Utilize skills in operations management and site operations to optimize performance.
• Assess employee performance and provide feedback for improvement.
• Leverage knowledge in utilities and compliance to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Proven expertise in Operations Management, specifically within Utilities
• Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Site Operations
• Expertise in the Utilities sector is mandatory for this role
• Strong background in Compliance, ensuring all operations adhere to government regulations and standards
• Experience in managing and improving Employee Performance
• Proficiency in conducting Performance Assessments, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimize performance
• Experience in executing Performance Evaluations, providing constructive feedback and facilitating detail-oriented development
• Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively manage teams and liaise with stakeholders
• Problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
