Robert Half Human Resources (HR) Manager in Jurupa Valley, California

Description Look no further, Human Resources Managers. Robert Half is partnering with a growing client to immediately hire a Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. How you will make an impact

  • Head up all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team

  • Take part in interdepartmental meetings with other managers

  • Head up human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees

  • Monitor reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs

  • Administer exit interviews and procedures

  • Establish management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures

  • Inform employees such that they follow all policies and procedures

  • Enhance the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices

  • Outline recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws

  • Retain historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records

  • Monitor and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings

  • Explore compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits Requirements - 1+ years of supervisory experience within human resources

  • 5+ years in human resources

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant experience

  • Deep knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure

  • Familiarity with HR software and working knowledge of MS Office

  • PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are preferred

  • Strong organization skills with a sense of urgency and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)

  • Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution

  • An understanding of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations

  • Ability to view issues without prejudice

  • Comfortable with handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

  • Excellent ethics, integrity, and standards
