Description We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the Construction industry located in Jurupa Valley, California. This role necessitates the management of a high-volume environment, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. The successful candidate will handle tasks associated with fixed assets, month-end balance sheet reconciliations, and will work with an ERP system.

Responsibilities:

• Manage accounting operations in a high-volume environment • Handle fixed asset accounting and maintain the general ledger • Conduct month-end and balance sheet reconciliations • Work with an ERP system to manage financial data • Handle financial reporting and analysis, including the use of Excel for Vlookup and Pivot tables • Assist with budgeting processes • Collaborate with both public and private accounting teams • Utilize various software tools including Microsoft Excel, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics NAV, Dynamics GP, and Excel Formulas • Maintain high levels of accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced work environment. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Senior Accountant role or similar

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations

• Experience with General Ledger management and Journal Entries

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including knowledge of Excel Formulas

• Experience with Month End Close processes

• Proficiency in Oracle, SAP, Dynamics NAV, and Dynamics GP

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or similar field preferred

• Knowledge of the construction/contractor industry is a plus

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• detail oriented certification such as CPA is preferred but not mandatory.
