Robert Half International Logistics Clerk in Kannapolis, North Carolina

Description

A client of OfficeTeam is seeking a Logistics Coordinator in the Logistics industry. In your role as the Logistics Clerk, the responsibility for working with clients coordinating shipments is important. This position is also responsible for performing a heavy amount of data entry and utilizing customer service skills. It is also important for the Logistics Clerk to take responsibility for the processing of customer orders, including coordination with vendors and arranging shipments. Submit your application today! Responsibilities

  • Conform to guidelines for approving carriers

  • Review freight bills and process bills of lading

  • Follow, track, and uphold dispatch & progress of orders on time and to meet delivery requirements

  • Convey and organize with inventory and sales management; warehouse; logistics for service changes

  • Follow-up with carriers, as necessary

  • Perform various administrative duties

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience with shipping/logistics

  • Inventory experience

  • Capacity to operate basic office equipment, complete general office work and route incoming materials

  • Excellent data entry skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer service mindset

  • You'll be a preferred candidate for this job if you can demonstrate experience in purchasing, inventory control, transportation and warehousing functions
