Description
There is a current Senior Analyst - FP& A position open with one of Robert Half's emerging partners. In this Senior Analyst - FP& A role, you will develop rolling forecast processes to ensure resources are leveraged with maximum effectiveness, drive world class strategic and financial planning methods, and build long-range operating plans to support business initiatives. You will play an integral role in planning processes and improving upon monthly and quarterly reporting as the Senior Analyst - FP& A. This role will give you the opportunity to become an integral part of the team, which will allow strategic input to the senior leadership of the company. As the Senior Analyst - FP& A, you will be in charge of the coordination of various planning cycles (quarterly forecasts, annual planning, and monthly outlooks) while providing strategic analyses and recommendations. You will provide variance analysis of bookings, revenues and expenses, clearly explaining the business reasons for variances and adjusting the outlook models to reflect operational adjustments.

Oversee monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations
Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support
Deliver monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
Provide assistance to Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close process
Cooperate closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans
Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities
Apprehend and analyze internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending
Provide Variance Analysis
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred
5 to 10 years experience with advanced financial analysis, planning and budget controls required
Public accounting experience a PLUS
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, PP
Cash flow management
SAP a huge plus
KPI Reporting experience
