Description

Candidates that have a finance background and possess outstanding communication skills, may qualify for this Financial Analyst position via Robert Half Finance. Daily functions include conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. Your responsibilities in this role

  • Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans

  • Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

  • Endorse weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings as well as P& L forecasting

  • Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

  • Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close processes

  • Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities

  • Deliver valuable foresight and decision support by enabling effective Business Intelligence (BI)

  • Track of monthly and quarterly performance by comparing actuals versus expectations to ensure business partners handle their resources

  • Lead monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required

  • Assemble and review forecasting reports

  • An ideal candidate should be highly flexible, comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations

    Requirements - Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools experience a plus

  • Skills in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly desired (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

  • Financial analysis & planning (go-to-market experience preferable)

  • BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

  • 2+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

  • Critical thinking, problem solving, ability to work independently

  • Solid understanding of Ad Hoc Analysis

  • Practical knowledge of Monthly Financial Reporting

  • Good understanding of HealthCare Industry

  • Microsoft Excel experience preferred

  • Deep understanding of Operational Activities

  • Well-founded grasp of Salesforce.com

  • General familiarity with variance analysis

  • Quality experience with KPI Reporting

  • Microsoft Great Plains Dynamics experience highly desired

  • Wide ranging experience with Data Analysis

  • Ad Hoc Financial Analysis experience required

  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM

  • Earlier work involving revenue recognition

  • Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations

  • Spreadsheet and ERP system experience suggested
