Robert Half Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in Keene, New Hampshire

Description We are offering a role for an IT Project Manager/Sr. Consultant in Keene, New Hampshire, United States. The role entails the comprehensive management of medium to large IT projects, particularly those related to the supply chain process and supporting systems. The position is a contract employment opportunity within the retail and wholesale industry.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the implementation of IT projects, providing systems and process expertise to enhance project delivery through all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

• Collect and document business requirements for the design and implementation of secure solutions that meet business needs while protecting company assets

• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and product teams to develop budgets, scope, resource capacity plans, and prioritize design, quality assurance, and user acceptance testing

• Contribute to solution development efforts with stakeholders to manage, track, and deliver an optimal system design for timely product delivery

• Monitor and ensure delivery from cross-functional teams responsible for new roll outs, implementation, and training of software modules

• Communicate detailed project plans to all stakeholders to ensure understanding of implementation capabilities and report on planning, scheduling, issues, risks, mitigation plans & overall status of the project

• Oversee the creation of new processes and tools as necessary to support additional needs and requirements of the business

• Identify the scope of system integration testing and prepare test sets and scripts for execution in test and defect management. System testing may include but is not limited to SITs, UATs, Unit testing, Performance testing, Regression and Disaster Recovery testing. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role such as Project Manager or Senior Consultant.

• Proven expertise in IT project management, encompassing a wide range of projects.

• Experience in the Retail sector is essential, with a specific focus on Retail Wholesale.

• Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain Logistics is required.

• Familiarity with IT configurations and ability to troubleshoot related issues.

• Proficiency in understanding and implementing the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.

• Ability to lead and manage teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

• Proficient in project management software and other relevant IT tools.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred.

• Relevant certifications in project management or related fields would be a plus. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
