We are seeking a dedicated Tax Staff - Public for our team in Keene, New Hampshire. This role is integral to our tax and finance department, where you will be responsible for handling corporate and individual taxes for our various clients. As part of this role, you will also be tasked with creating financial statements for a number of smaller clients.
Responsibilities:
• Manage corporate tax duties for a variety of clients
• Prepare individual tax returns accurately and punctually
• Generate financial statements for smaller clients
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and guidelines
• Maintain a thorough understanding of tax laws relating to LLCs, Partnership Tax, and S-Corps
• Provide support to clients and answer any tax-related inquiries
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all tax duties are completed efficiently
• Keep up-to-date with the latest tax practices and policies
• Use your expertise in Financial Statement Preparation to assist in various financial projects
• Take part in continuous professional development activities to enhance tax knowledge and skills.
Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience in the field of tax preparation in a public setting.
• Proficiency in corporate tax preparation and filing.
• Experience with individual tax return preparation.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare financial statements.
• Expertise in dealing with Limited Liability Companies (LLCs).
• Knowledge of partnership tax strategies and guidelines.
• Experience with S-Corporations tax procedures and regulations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for client interaction.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure is preferred.
