Description A well-established CPA firm in Keller, TX is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper for a contract-to-permanent opportunity. This is a great chance to join a dynamic team and work closely with accountants and CPAs to manage financial records for multiple clients. Key Responsibilities: Maintain financial records for various clients, ensuring accuracy and organization. Record daily financial transactions (sales, payments, purchases) and manage general ledgers. Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and resolve discrepancies. Process payroll for clients, ensuring tax compliance and timely submission. Manage accounts payable and receivable, tracking bills, invoices, and payments. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, etc.). Assist with tax preparation by providing accurate financial data and supporting documentation. Support audit preparation by organizing and providing necessary client records. Ensure clients remain compliant with tax laws and regulatory requirements. Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero to maintain records. Track petty cash, manage expense reports, and assist clients with budgeting. Regularly communicate with clients to provide updates and address any financial issues. Prepare trial balances for financial statement preparation. Requirements Qualifications: Proven experience as a bookkeeper, ideally within a CPA firm or multi-client environment. Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms. Strong understanding of payroll, tax regulations, and financial reporting. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work onsite permanent in Keller, TX. Strong communication skills to interact with clients and CPAs effectively.
