Description We are seeking a Credit Clerk to join our team in Kennesaw, Georgia. This role primarily involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. In addition, you will be tasked with monitoring customer credit accounts and taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments. This position offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process incoming checks, distinguishing between regular and overnight payments.

• Handle payments by accurately identifying account numbers and organizing them accordingly.

• Match payments with corresponding invoices or orders for verification.

• Ensure all payments are prepared for deposit, including utilizing remote scanner capabilities for efficient processing.

• Proficiency in Excel for managing payment data and generating reports.

• Exceptional attention to detail to accurately handle financial transactions and documentation.

• Dependable work ethic to consistently meet processing deadlines and maintain accuracy in financial records.

• Utilize accounting software systems and Microsoft Office Suites for various accounting and billing functions.

• Administer claims and collection processes as part of customer service responsibilities.

• Utilize IBM AS/400 and ADP for financial services. Requirements • Proficiency in using accounting software systems

• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services

• Experience with IBM AS/400

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suites

• Knowledge of accounting functions

• Experience in handling billing functions

• Familiarity with claim administration

• Understanding of collection processes

• Excellent customer service skills
