Description
Specialized company in the Mainline Philadelphia area seeks a Financial Controller with strong ERP knowledge. As the Controller, you will handle all aspects of financial management, accounting policies/procedures, and internal control systems. We are looking for a Controller that can manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary to achieve accurate accounting of consolidated business results.
Primary Responsibilities
· Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll
· Manage internal controls
· Present risk analysis
· Prepare journal entries
· Enforce internal policies and procedures
· Ensure compliance with tax regulations
· Provide financial reports/statements to upper management
· Recommend process improvements
· Assist with internal and external audit process
· Calculate variances
Requirements
The ideal Financial Controller will have a Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration.
Other requirements for the Financial Controller role include and are not limited to:
· CPA preferred
· 10+ years of accounting experience
· 3+ years of management experience
· Sage (MAS) preferred
· Strong analytical skills
