Description We are offering a role for a meticulous Data Entry Clerk to join our team based in Kent, Washington. The role involves assisting in the meticulous review and preparation of real estate documents for recording. The successful candidate will be working as part of a supportive team, focusing on the accurate and efficient processing of recording packages and maintaining clear digital records.
Responsibilities:
• Assisting the Senior Recorder in reviewing and preparing real estate documents for recording.
• Transferring details such as deeds and county protocols for the closing of sales.
• Following closing instructions as outlined in the recording package, ensuring all details are accurately followed and double-checked.
• Submitting reviewed documents digitally, ensuring accuracy to avoid recording failures.
• Responding to all communications regarding recording from lenders, co-workers, agents, buyers and sellers in a timely and professional manner.
• Using internal systems and various websites to review and submit documents.
• Providing stellar communication via phone and email to ensure clear and precise information exchange.
• Utilizing Microsoft Excel and Word for data entry and organization of information.
• Performing calculations and organizing files as part of the role.
• Ensuring electronic records are updated and maintained accurately. Requirements • Possession of 1+ year of experience in a data entry role
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Strong typing skills and ability to perform calculations
• Familiarity with handling electronic records and organizing files
• Experience in customer service and email correspondence
• Proficient in using 10 Key Skills
• Knowledge in handling mortgage documents, deeds, and contracts
• Experience in mortgage closing procedures
• Ability to operate scanning equipment
• Ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency in data entry tasks.
