We are seeking a Sr. Accountant for our team located in Kent, Washington. As a Sr. Accountant, your key role will be to manage and oversee our accounting operations. This includes participating in the monthly accounting cycle, interacting with various systems and platforms, and potentially supervising one or two direct reports. Responsibilities:

• Oversee the monthly close process and accounting cycle to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Supervise one or two direct reports, providing guidance and support when necessary

• Interact with various systems and platforms, including Sage Intacct, to manage accounting and billing processes

• Maintain a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices

• Actively participate in the growth and consolidation of the accounting office

• Ensure all accounting tasks and projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards

• Work closely with other team members and departments to improve overall operations and processes

• Participate in the preparation of financial reports, performing detailed analyses and providing expert financial advice

• Use your skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Microsoft Excel, Month End Close, and Sage Intacct to perform and oversee a variety of accounting tasks.

The salary range for this position is $105k to $115k. Benefits available with this position include medical, dental and vision; life and disability insurances; participation in the company’s 401(k) plan with 3% match and 15 days of paid vacation, 5 days of paid sick leave and 10 paid holidays per calendar year.

Requirements • Must possess a degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Sr. Accountant is essential.

• Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices is required.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is necessary.

• Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage Intacct is a plus.

• Excellent knowledge of general ledger functions, month-end/year-end close processes and balance sheet reconciliation.

• Proficiency in making journal entries and bank reconciliations.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Must adhere to professional standards, including confidentiality and ethical conduct.

• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high levels of complexity.
